This is so lame, but we all know that 2007 is over soon and as I was reading through blogs over at elbo.ws I noticed how everyone and their grandmothers are compiling "the best of '07" lists.
I really just have one song I want to share since I'm pretty bad at making any kind of lists (and I don't even want to make one). And most people who talk to much music just end up sounding way pretentious anyway.
But this song I just love (I have so many covers of it on my computer), and it definitely owed the year making its performer the biggest and sexiest singer of the year (and she totally is, you bitches can't deny that).
Oh yeah, the song. Why, of course, it's Umbrella! This years's "the song" you probably heard in your sleep and the song that even your father knows lyrics to.
Here's an mp3 of it and since it's Christmas time I decided to bury the hatred I have for Mandy Moore (I still haven't forgiven A Walk to Remember) for a moment and post the amazing cover she made of the song. See, I'm cool and different, I didn't post the original!
